We are a
SPIRIT, with a SOUL, living in a temporary physical BODY.
God's love changes us
forever! Have you received God's love? God wants
to bring us all out of spiritual confusion, wrong
philosophies, lies, religious routine, and passive rejection
of God's gifts. God wants us to have the truth--life
truth! God's Word and Holy Spirit does reveals to
us what truth is. We can rest in God's truth with
confidence that God is faithful in all His promises to
us. God will give us life in time and forever to those
who desire and receive His empowering grace to be restored
spiritually back to God through Jesus Christ.
Our SPIRIT
is the most important part of us that few of us
recognize. Our SPIRIT is the part of us that hungers
for truth. Our SPIRIT is the part of us that
connects with God. Our SPIRIT is the part of us that
unlocks the meaning of life. Our SPIRIT can come
into agreement with our SOUL. Our SOUL is
made up of our mind, emotions and will. Our SOUL is
the part of us that gathers information, feels emotions,
and makes choices. Our SOUL is the part of us that
comes into agreement with the spiritual part of us.
Our SOUL can yield to the physical desires of our
BODY. Our BODY is
the part of us that connects with our physical
world. Our BODY is stimulated by our five senses:
touch, taste, smell, see, and hear. Our BODY is the
part of us that looses it's beauty and strength over
time. Our BODY contains our SPIRIT and SOUL.
What They
Didn't Teach Us In School
Our
Greatest Frustration…
We
are spiritual beings living in physical bodies and
wonder why it is absolutely impossibly to satisfy our
spiritual needs with physical things. We try to
satisfy cravings and desire, but never achieve
complete satisfaction. As a result many people become
addicted to the things that they think will help
satisfy them. They become mastered by the things we
are to rule over.
Our
Strongest Obstacle…
Our
free "will" is the strongest part of us that
cannot be forced to change by any power in Heaven, or
on Earth. No angel or demon can force their will on us
without our permission. Not even God will force His
will on us. We must choose our relationship with God
by our own free will choice. Knowing God is loving,
wise, forgiving and awesome helps us make the right
choice of choosing eternal life with Him.
Our
Longest Journey…
Truth
that travels from our mind into our heart is possibly
the longest journey. God’s love for us is great, but
must move beyond an intellectual concept (or belief)
into an intimate relationship with Him reviving our
heart. Religion can distract us, but a loving
Relationship with God can restore us back to life. We
must choose to move beyond a "head
knowledge" about God into a grateful life
relationship receiving both God’s truth and love in
our heart.
Our
Biggest Need…
We
need Life infused into our spirit by God--otherwise we
will exist in a spiritually dead state not secure in
God’s truth. We need a new life (God’s
forgiveness), abundant life (God’s grace) and
eternal life (God’s gift) from the only One who can
give life. God created life, sustains life and invites
us to be restored in life---spirit, soul and body.
Restoration starts in the most important part of us—in
our spirit. God’s Spirit of Truth leads us out of
wondering, guessing and even spiritual confusion into
a freedom to enjoy life with God forever.
Our
Toughest Transition…
Most
people live dominated by their five senses of taste,
touch, seeing, hearing, and smell. Few people
understand their spiritual value and spiritual need
prior to their physical death. Once a person
understands that they are a spirit, with a soul (mind,
emotions, will), living in a physical body, they can
understand God’s great invitation to become
spiritually alive (new birth) to God through Jesus
Christ mankind’s only Savior.
What
Kind Of Beings Are We?
We are spiritual
beings who….(1) Are loved by God, (2) Made in God’s
image, (3) Special and unique, (4) Need to understand
our eternal value and choices, (5) Will live forever
somewhere in Heaven or Hell depending on our faith in
God’s power to save us from our sin through Jesus
Christ (John 3:16—The Bible).
What
Is God’s Loving Invitation?
We are invited to
enter into a new life which restores us spirit, soul
and body---back to the way God planned for us We are
invited into eternal forgiveness of sins through Jesus
Christ. We are invited into freedom from the penalty
of sin, the power of sin, and ultimately from the
presence of sin—through faith in God’s free gift
of empowering grace in Jesus Christ. We are invited to
live with God forever in His eternal pleasures.
When
Does Eternal Life Start?
Eternal life
starts when we choose to follow Jesus Christ instead
of following the world, self, and the devil. Eternal
life starts when a person believes, receives,
confesses and follows Jesus Christ as their Savior and
Lord. Eternal life starts when a person responds to
God’s Holy Spirit (of truth) inviting them to come
receiving God’s grace by faith. Eternal life IS our
relationship with God (John 17:3—the Bible).
